Koe back in action

Kevin Koe, with Aaron Sluchinski at third, Tyler Tardi, and Karrick Martin on the front end, are looking for some much-needed points this weekend.
Koe did not qualify for the Kioti National in November, making it the first grand slam since 2007 that Kevin personally has missed.
At the end of last season, Koe was ranked #10. However, he has dropped to #27 in the current world rankings, which means he will miss the next grand slam, the WFG Masters in Guelph, Ontario, in the new year.
Although it has not been the year they hoped for, Koe is still a front-runner to win the Boston Pizza Cup and qualify as Team Alberta for the 2025 Montana's Brier.
Koe is in Swift Current this weekend, playing in the RBC Dominion Securities Western Showdown, and will face Sudbury's John Epping for the first time this season in their opening match today at 1:30 pm Mountain Time (MT).
The triple knockout action will continue through Sunday evening, with the playoffs happening all day Monday.
