Kleibrink played 8 seasons at third for Jeremy Harty placing second in the 2021-2022 Alberta Men's Excel Points Race, just behind team Karsten Sturmay of Edmonton.
Kleibrink's new team consists of Dustin Kalthoff at third, Chris Kennedy at second, and Evan Van Amsterdam at lead. Kennedy was a previous Alberta Golden Bears player with Sturmay, while Van Amsterdam previously skipped his own team. Kalthoff is an import player from Saskatchewan.
When chatting with Kleibrink, he mentioned that the upcoming weekend in Leduc was about building team identity.
"This weekend is all about learning each other and getting to know our styles of play," said Kleibrink ahead of the Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series event in Leduc.
Every game will be broadcast through the Alberta Curling Series and CurlingZone Youtube channels and other social media platforms.
"I don't expect us to be on the top of our game our first time out."
When asked what would set his team apart from the rest, Kleibrink said "I like that our third brings some experience to the table and we are all willing to put in the work and are very passionate."
Kleibrink's team will be playing in 11 events this season, travelling to both Martensville
Saskatchewan and Penticton, BC, to feel out the competition all around Canada. Team Aaron Sluchinski, which houses Jeremy Harty at third, is also set to play in Leduc this weekend.
