Homan bounced back with two in the second end, then stole another point when Hasselborg attempted her third straight blank in the fifth end.
Hasselborg made a runback double attempt for two in the sixth end, settling for a single point, with Homan scoring one in the seventh and taking on an extra point in the eighth end for the 5-2 win.
Thus far, Homan has been undefeated in Oakville at the Sixteen Mile Sports Centre, winning with opening game 8-7 over Sweden Isabella Wrana, then 6-2 over Eun-Ji Gim of Korea. Homan then won 7-2 against Tirinzoni and dropped Chelsea Carey 7-2 in their final round-robin game.
