Yoshimura throws out ceremonial first pitch for Ham Fighters

Japanese curling star Sayaka Yoshimura took a turn on the diamond as she threw out the ceremonial first pitch for the Nippon Ham Fighters. Yoshimura represented Japan at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy and is a fan favourite in her home country, and was warmly welcomed by the crowd in what was a fun crossover moment between Japan's most beloved winter and summer sports.
