PEI's Team Power Previews Busy Fall Schedule

Amanda Power spent a decade knocking on the door of a Prince Edward Island women's title. She finally got through it in January, and the reward was a week she is unlikely to forget - and, by her own standards, unlikely to be satisfied with.

Now the door leads somewhere bigger. The 2027 Scotties Tournament of Hearts runs Feb. 12-21 at the Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown, a record fifth turn as host for the city and its first since 2011. For every women's team on the Island, the 2026-27 season carries a weight that no other year does: win the province, and you play a national championship in front of the people you learned the game with.
