Grand Slam committee to review unusual finish at Victoria Invitational
The Grand Slam of Curling's competition committee plans to meet this week to discuss an unusual round-robin finish at the Co-op Invitational in Victoria, British Columbia, the first stop of the 2026-27 Grand Slam season.
The finish sent two Canadian teams into the playoffs and left an American rink outside the cutline. That team spoke pointedly about the outcome, and the ending drew boos from the crowd, according to CBC Sports.
The GSOC Invitational ran Oct. 13-18 at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
