Principi Back On Ice at KW Fall Classic
Team Chelsea Principi kicks off the new season this weekend at the Hogged Rock KW Fall Classic presented by Runback Brewing, running September 4-7 at the KW Granite Club in Waterloo. The Niagara Falls rink draws a tough opener: an 8:00 PM Friday matchup with fellow Ontario side Team Hollie Duncan, who won the women's title here last September, beating Team Tabata in the final.
Principi, third Lauren Peskett, second Brenda Chapman and lead Keira McLaughlin come in with momentum of her own. The team captured the 2025 Swiss Chalet Women's Curling Stadium Spiel, one of the bigger early-season women's results on the Ontario tour, and will be looking to carry that form into a KW field that has traditionally served as a first real test for provincial contenders ahead of the fall qualifying grind.
